Stack of Books BioSite The BioSite was my first project. I designed and developed this site from scratch. I wanted to challenge my design skills so no CSS frameworks were used in this design.
People Planning BioSite's Prototype This prototype is my first design for the BioSite. It started with an idea that I was able to sketch out on paper. My entire design started and ended with these drawings.
Computer Code Web-231 Github Repository This course covers the concepts of programming using JavaScript in the Enterprise. Focus is on the JavaScript programming language syntax, software design, coding, documenting, and debugging strategies.
Portfolio Prototype This prototype started with a drawing, then was wireframed using the Sketch App for Mac. The Sketch app was a great way to test different font stacks.
Web-330 Github Repository This course examines intermediate and advanced JavaScript concepts and techniques. Topics include advanced functions, asynchronous executions, jQuery design patterns, MVC with Backbone.js, MVVM with Knockout.js, and single-page applications."
Web-330 Group Project Our project was to create a SPA that asked 10 questions regarding JavaScript. The user should have the option to answer the current question, or move back and forth between questions. Our goal was to populate questions into a grid. When a user selects a question, it will open a modal window. The user can either answer the question, or close the modal and come back to it later. After all questions are answered, the user is shown how well they did."
Web-420 API Gateway This course presents the purpose of APIs (Application Program Interface), their functions, and how to use and manage them in the context of web development. Topics include REST methodologies, SOAP Request / Responses, JSON WEB APIs, REST based Authentication and Authorization, Microservices, ESB’s (Enterprise Service Bus), and Testing and Debugging APIs. Node.js is used for building RESTful APIs and SOAP UI is used for testing and debugging them. GitHub is used to host and share coding projects.
Web-425 Angular with Typescript This course covers web application frameworks and how to build client-rich applications using Angular with TypeScript. Following an intensive, hands-on style format, students will learn how to write code in TypeScript, communicate with middleware platforms using HTTP and WebSocket protocols, automate the building and deployment processes using the Angular CLI, organizing navigation in a Single Page Application (SPAs), learn industry best practices, unit-testing, and deployment.
